Transport
The school has a fleet of own vehicles-coach buses and mini buses for transportation
of children. They are also used for transportation of students and staff to places
of historical and geographical importance and visiting places of interest on excursion.
Being situated just beside the Nala road at Rajendra Nagar, Patna there is no dearth
of commercial, buses, mini buses, three wheelers, which can be hired at low cost
at any time.
SECURITY
The school and hostels are covered by a very tights system of security. Durwans,
Peons, Chowkidars and Night-guards are deployed in and around the area on vigilance
duty during day and night.
HOUSE SYSTEM
Students are grouped into five houses for cultivating a healthy spirit of competition.
To give students opportunities to develop skills like leadership, public speaking
and group behaviour, houses take turns to conduct the morning assembly.
HEALTHCARE
A well-equipped infirmary is geared towards carrying out periodical check-ups to
monitor the health of each child as well as taking care of contingencies. The school's
own ambulance is always on stand by in case of emergencies. Further, medical and
dental checkups as well as special vaccination camps are held every year.
HOSTEL
The school provides excellent hostel facilities separately for boys and girls. The
hostel is spread over a vast open area in pollution free scenic surrounding and
has imposing well-furnished buildings. Regular supply of fresh water from the pumping
station of the school is maintained during all the hours of day and night. Heavy
generating sets remain on standby duty and are put in operation in cases of power
failures. A plant has been installed for supply of pure and safe drinking water
in the hostel & school permises.
Only those guardians are allowed to receive their wards whose signatures are available
on specimen signature cards. In no case will a boarder be sent with any person whose
signature is not on the specimen card.
READING ROOM
Here in the library, a separate set up for silent reading exists, where in divisions,
daily newspapers and various magazines are kept. Students and members of the staff
make use of this facility for their literary pursuits and enhancement of knowledge.
LIBRARY
A rich library has been setup with adequate number of books to cater to the needs
of both students and staff. A wide range of books of educational interest are available
even for research purpose. For references and consultation even the foreign edition
of some of the books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and year books are stocked. For
adequate service of the students, computerised system of library automation has
been installed. Besides this, we have audio-video visual system to inculcate self-learning
process and use the library in the most interesting way. It is used as a compulsory
part of the curriculum right from the primary to higher level.
COMPUTER EDUCATION
Well equipped spacious laboratories with 10 computers have been set up to impart
computer education. competent & well experienced teachers have been employed to
impart education & training. Now it is a compulsory part of the curriculum. As we
believe in practical way of teaching, so right from the primary to higher classes
sufficient time and resource is devoted to practical classes. All functions of Academic
& Official nature are now covered by computer package. Teaching aids, Decision aids,
Progress Card, Result, Personal particulars etc. are now monitored through technological
aid thus making the educational system more accurate & scientific. Internet facility
in technological aids is recently added to facilitate access to the ever expending
body of knowledge and information all around.
